Equipped to Counsel Biblical Counseling Training

At Chapel Pointe, we are passionate about cultivating a culture of biblical counseling throughout all ministries and relationships. In this training course, participants will receive formal and lay education designed to equip them to bring the hope, help, and healing of Christ to others. Using the Equipped to Counsel curriculum from the Association of Biblical Counseling, students will be trained in the foundational principles and practices of biblical counseling.

This 8-month course aims to develop a team of lay biblical counselors who are prepared to serve within the church, fostering a community rooted in Christ's transformative power. Through this training, participants will learn to integrate biblical truths into counseling situations, guiding individuals toward joy and freedom in Christ.

This year, we’re offering two course options to meet different needs.
 
The Level 1 Certificate Option is for those pursuing formal biblical counseling and includes the full coursework and observation components. Once the course is completed, you will receive a certificate from the Association of Biblical Counselors.

The Enrichment Option is for individuals who wish to receive training without pursuing formal counseling. These students will have a lighter workload. This option is a great fit for anyone wanting to grow in biblical wisdom and care, whether in mentoring, leadership, or everyday relationships. (This is adjacent to ABC's Level 1 program but not affiliated with it.)

*Some costs will be charged separately, including an Application Fee and a Digital Journal of Biblical Counseling Subscription.
